Booking Related Information
Do you take deposits?
Absolutely! You can secure your booking with nothing more than a payment of a single player. Any remaining payments can be made at our reception.
How much does it cost?
Escape Rooms are charged at $55 for Adults and $40 for children, while the Floor is Lava is charged at a flat $20pp. Check out memberships for discounts!
can we split payments?
If you would like to pay for yourself only, pay only the deposit when booking to secure the timeslot. We’ll split any remaining payments on arrival.
Can I add more Players?
Heck yeah you can! Bring your friends, bring your family, you can even bring my family… Anyway, when you get here we can add them in at reception.
How long is my Booking?
Our games comes feature a duration within their room information, but roughly plan 60 Mins for Escape Rooms, and 20 Mins for the Floor is Lava.
Do I need to arrive early?
We’re happy for you to arrive early! It allows you time to freshen up and prepare. If we have your room ready, we can often start it asap!
Is my booking private?
We don’t offer any public sessions. So even if you’ve only selected the minimum amount of players for your booking, we’ll ensure remains private!
Companion Cards Accepted?
We accept companion cards on all games. To apply, simply book one less player. NOTE: Games are run at a minimum 2-player charge, so bring a friend!
What if I can’t make it?
We have a strict 24-Hour refund policy, please contact us asap if you need to cancel your game. If you’d like to reschedule then just call anytime!
Game Related Information
can we play as a pair?
Groups of 2-players only are able to play each and every one of our games. In fact, some of our top records were set by dynamic duos! Will you be next?
What if my group is big?
If you have lots of people in your team we’ll happily squish you into any game you choose. Group sizes on room are just recommendations, not rules!
How old should my kids be?
In Escape Rooms, players aged 4 and under aren’t much help, but do have fun (for free)! To play Floor is Lava, they only need to know Red, Blue and Green.
Do I need to know english?
Most of our games require English comprehension. If you’re not sure of your English, we’d recommend the Floor is Lava, Dark Dungeon or Arcade Black.
Are your games Physical?
Each of our games have different physical requirements, some require complex movements. Call us if you need to know about specific games!
how scary are the rooms?
Some of our Escape Rooms are scary, but remember they’re still just games. You are safe despite occasional scares, we just want you to have fun!
Venue Related Information
Where is Lost Locks?
We’re located inside the Cavill Arcade on Cavill Avenue. Just a short walk from the beach, and a single corner away from the iconic Slingshot!
Where should I park?
We don’t have guest parking, but we’re right across the road from the Bruce Bishop carpark. Check out our recommendations page for more parking info.
Do you have an elevator?
Yes, but it can be tricky to find, can only be ridden up when we call it, and sadly requires climbing four steps to access. Please call us if you require it.
